I am a retired Medical practitioner having worked as a Surgeon in various NHS Hospitals ( between 1980 and 1987 ) and then switched over to General Practice from1998 to 2015. I also practiced medicine in India from 1988 to 1997.
I was very fortunate to have my school education in a Institute run by Australian Fathers from the Society of Jesuits who had sacrificed their home and family to educate students in my home town of Hazaribagh in India.
Their sacrifice and dedication has left immense respect and inspiration on all their students who even after more then fifty years highly admire them at the Old Boys meet on an annual basis. We are all indebted to them for whatever we are today.
These Australian Fathers were so passionate and chose to live a very austere lifestyle far away from their home land in the pursuit of their mission of life to uplift the future generations by imparting a meaningful and holistic school education.
I have cultivated my interest in education since my early school days and I hope to contribute from my previous experiences.
