Standards
Latest national test results* show that our children make good progress during their time at Hovingham.
• In reading and in maths, our children make about the same level of progress as children in most primary schools in England, including those in far more affluent areas.
• In writing, our children make above average progress, placing our school amongst the top 10% of schools for progress in writing.
(*Latest available test data are for 2018/19. National testing did not take place in 2019/20 due to Covid-19.)
